Chief Executive Officer
Rob possesses a blend of entrepreneurial skills with operational and leadership acumen. He has held executive-level positions for mature and venture-backed companies such as President, Board Member, COO (by responsibility), CPO along with other various senior-level vice president positions in marketing, business development and engineering. He holds a full suite of tools necessary to effectively run both a corporate technology and consumer product organization to success. He has led all aspects of business operations eventually taking a number of companies to acquisition.
Rob has held executive or senior management positions at companies such as FalconStor Software, Altior Inc., SMSC, Afides, Network Peripheral, and Netvision Corporations . His roles have included the management of a $75 million product line of a $400 million corporation and raising $175 million in a secondary funding. He has built world-class teams both local and internationally on numerous occasions.
Founder / Chief Partnership Officer
Doug has over 20 years of experience in interactive online marketing, content, technology and e-commerce development. In 2010, while consulting for other companies, Doug started a spirits website as a hobby. Whiskey Magazine named the website “Online Retailer of the Year”. Doug knew he was on to something so he decide to focus entirely upon creating a network of micro-communities targeting the craft food and beverage sector. He then rebranded the spirits website as forwhiskeylovers.com and then followed shortly thereafter by launching fortequilalovers.com.
Prior to founding For-Lovers, Doug was a Group Director of Interactive Marketing at Siegel + Gale, a global brand strategy firm. Prior to S+G, Doug served as CEO of Abstract Edge, an online marketing and multidisciplinary design firm, where he was directly responsible for winning Interactive AOR assignments from brands ranging from P&G, Marriott, Lowes Hotels to Disney and Vera Wang. During his tenure at Abstract Edge, the agency was recognized as one of the national Top-25 interactive agencies in 2003 – 2005 by B2B Magazine.
Chief Technology Officer
Serving as both a founder in his own entrepreneurial ventures and as an integral participant in successful technology startups, David’s range of experience spans early stage planning, programming team development, infrastructure design and build-outs (both physical or cloud) all the way to the support of M&A transactions to successful exit. He has adopted large scale challenges as a consultant/problem solver for equity stakes and successfully supported theoe efforts to exit. Some of his personal works include the pre Trulia/Zillow IDX connected real estate business resulting in 100’s of millions of dollars in residential transactions in 4 major markets. Following the market downturn beginning in 2006-7, David assumed the role as CTO and partner of Facebook Family Tree - a top 40 Facebook application, where he scaled the userbase from 30K users to 150M users and supported the M&A transaction to a successful exit.
